Taura, a head. Part of our new collection, Compromised Crania.
Taura is part of a new sub-collection within Compromised Crania which will be comprised of the different signs of the zodiac. Taura is aptly named for her zodiac sign, Taurus. Vivid greens and golds with a mixture of earthy reds, showcase the Taurus colors. Her hair has been designed to correspond to a bull's horns, while the shadow on her face symbolizes the zodiac symbol of a bull. The Taurus star chart appears on her cheek and the Taurus symbol is represented on her lips.
Taura is an upcycled piece of art that began life as a training tool for a cosmetology student. After it's last hair cut was complete and the student moved on to sentient heads, it began its new life as a piece of art. Painted with acrylic paint and finished with a high gloss varnish.
Taura is approximately 10" tall with a 21" circumference. The base head is comprised of real human hair, vinyl for the face, and a plastic base.
